Delivery
When we post
Life Beading kits are packed by hand in Shropshire and are usually dispatched within 1–3 working days.
If there is likely to be any significant delay, we will contact you by email.
Delivery costs
UK delivery is free.
For international orders, delivery charges are shown clearly at checkout before you pay and may vary depending on the size of your order and destination.
Delivery times
Our usual preparation time is 1–3 working days before dispatch.
UK standard delivery is sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48, with a delivery aim of 2–3 working days after dispatch.
Faster delivery options may be available at checkout. These refer to the postal service used after dispatch and do not reduce our usual preparation time.
For international orders, delivery times vary by destination and are shown at checkout.
Where we deliver
We deliver throughout the UK, including Northern Ireland, the Highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
We also currently ship to the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Delivery times may vary depending on destination and local postal services.
For international orders, customs duties, taxes or import charges may apply depending on the destination country. Where these are charged at checkout, they will be included in the amount shown before you pay.
Sending a kit directly to someone else
You are very welcome to send a Life Beading kit directly to the person it is for.
Simply enter their address as the delivery address when ordering.
If you would like us to include a gift message, please add this where prompted during checkout or contact us after ordering.
We do not include prices or invoices inside gift parcels.
Christmas delivery
We publish our recommended Christmas ordering dates in late November.
Orders placed after the recommended date may still arrive in time, but we cannot guarantee delivery before Christmas.
If your order has not arrived
If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery window, please email info@overthestile.co.uk.
We will check what has happened and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or refund.
Returns
If you change your mind
You have 14 days from receiving your order to tell us that you would like to cancel and return it.
You do not need to give a reason.
Please email info@overthestile.co.uk to let us know, then return the goods within 14 days of telling us that you wish to cancel.
Unless the item is faulty or we have made a mistake, you are responsible for the cost of returning it.
We recommend obtaining proof of postage and keeping it until your refund has been processed.
We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
Your refund will include the cost of our standard delivery option. If you chose a more expensive delivery service, we will refund the cost of standard delivery only.
You are welcome to open the packaging and inspect the kit. If the goods have been handled more than would reasonably be necessary to inspect them, and this has reduced their value, we may make an appropriate deduction from the refund.
Bespoke and personalised orders
Bespoke or personalised items made specifically for you cannot normally be returned simply because you have changed your mind.
This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.
If something is wrong with your order
If your kit arrives damaged, faulty, incomplete or not as described, please email info@overthestile.co.uk.
Where helpful, please include a photograph so that we can understand what has happened.
We will put things right in accordance with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Depending on the circumstances, this may mean a refund, replacement or another appropriate remedy.
If the goods are faulty, you will not have to bear reasonable return postage costs.
A note about the beads
Life Beading kits contain beads that are individually selected and may vary naturally in colour, pattern, shape and finish.
No two bead combinations are exactly the same.
The photographs on our website show representative examples rather than the exact beads you will receive.
Natural variation is part of the character of the kit and is not considered a fault.

Workshops and events
Workshop and event places are booked for a specific date, so the usual 14-day change-of-mind right that applies to online goods does not normally apply in the same way.
Our cancellation policy is:

More than 14 days before the event: you can receive a full refund or, where possible, transfer your place to another suitable date.

Less than 14 days before the event: we cannot usually offer a refund because your place has been reserved and preparations may already have been made. Please still contact us, as we will try to help where we reasonably can.

If we cancel the event: you will receive a full refund or, where available, the option to transfer to another date.
If exceptional circumstances arise, please contact us. We are a small business and will always try to deal with cancellations fairly and reasonably.
Trade orders
Wholesale and stockist orders are subject to separate trade terms and are not covered by the consumer returns policy above.
