WHAT IS LIFE BEADING?

A little like modern prayer beads, only the meaning is entirely your own.

Instead of repeating prayers, each bead represents something from your own life. As people describe what their beads mean, they often find words for things that had been hard to name.

Later, when your fingers find that bead on your wrist, it can bring you straight back to what it means.

It's not magic. It's what happens when you slow down, make something with your hands, and give your inner life a place to land.

I'm Suzannah - a philosophy teacher and coach.

Life Beading grew from one question: why can we have a clear, important thought about how we want to live... and then lose hold of it by Thursday?

Because wisdom doesn't always need to stay in a notebook.

What is Life Beading?

Life Beading® is a guided reflection and bracelet-making practice created by Suzannah Husey. Using a series of thoughtful prompts, you choose beads that represent memories, insights, values or intentions that matter to you, then thread them into a bracelet.

Each bead becomes a physical reminder of what it represents. When you see or touch that bead later, it can bring you back to the thought, memory or realisation you chose it for.
